He is renowned for his distinctive artistry, socio-political consciousness and unique persona. He is always dressed in robes and an iconic face mask which conceal his identity. The exact reason for his use of the mask is still a subject of debate till today. Some people say that he uses the mask to cover his face which was disfigured from a fire. However, some think that the mask represents the faceless, voiceless people in the society This reason is actually in line with his stage name which is a Yoruba word meaning anybody, somebody, everybody or nobody. For him, it is music.
